Committee for Automatic Testing Systems for Defence
This is a forum that allows MOD and industry to co-operate to their mutual advantage, working and agreeing on best practices associated with Automatic Test Systems (ATS) and providing a coherent input into the IEEE SCC20 standards.
Defence Support Reference Architecture Business Functional Model WG
Collaboration between industry and MOD to further develop the Business Functional Model which informs a range of MOD programmes.
Defence Standard 00-600
Def Stan 00-600 is the Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Requirements for MOD Projects. It describes the overall context of ILS in the MOD and provides a guidance framework in which to contract for ILS in the procurement and in-service support of Defence products.
Multi Domain Integration
A MOD/ TD-Info working group is proposed to engage the Private Sector, (Industry and Academic) inputs into helping deliver the MOD Multi Domain Integration concept and change programme. The group is sponsored by Maj Gen Robin Anderton Brown in Strategic Command.
Joint Obsolescence Management Working Group
Forum for Team Defence to discuss and promulgate existing and developing Policy, Advice and Guidance on Obsolescence Management matters.
Software Enabled Defence Working Group
A strategic and disruptive MOD/Industry engagement and influence programme, assisting the MOD to exploit digital and software solutions to support the needs of Operational Constant Compeition.
Trading Forum
To support and drive the successful implementation and exploitation of Digital Procurement between MOD and it’s Trading Partner community, through the adoption of best practice processes and technologies.
We have a number of “Working Groups” established to advance the mutual knowledge and understanding of a specific topic that is timely, defined, and relevant to Industry and MOD.
Each Working Group provides the focus for an area of innovative research and development invariably leading to the definition of mutually agreed standards, publication of a White Paper, or initiation of a collaborative Industry/MOD Project.
