The Supply User Group draws its authority from the Defence Authority for Logistics, ACDS (Log Ops), and reports into the 1* chaired Defence Logistics Steering Group. It subsumes roles and responsibilities previously embedded in a range of capability and policy working groups underpinning the Supply process.
