Following the direction of the Strategic Defence Review (SDR), the UK Defence Industrial Strategy (DIS) reinforced that we are in a new era of threat, which demands a new era for UK defence. An era in which we will deter the threats by sustaining warfighting readiness and strengthening security in the Euro-Atlantic. The DIS has committed to REFORM procurement, INNOVATE at wartime pace, and GROW the industrial base. As a key part of this reform, MOD is committed to ‘deliver digitally enabled acquisition’. The time for action is now.

The Digital Engineering ‘26 conference will provide a unique platform for Defence Leaders to share the vision for digitally enabled acquisition and the key elements that require reform for new requirements to be ‘Born Digital’ and digitally enabled through life. Digital Engineering is at the core of this reform and the conference will focus expert panels from across government, MOD, industry and academia to address the challenges in how we can collectively and rapidly move the dial on implementation. Whether you have a view on process, data exchange, decision making, contracting, skills, collaboration or any other enabler your contribution at the event is welcomed. Join us at DE’26 to work together sharing knowledge, skills and experience to directly influence the Digital Engineering contribution to the new era of UK Defence.
