CC&S DEPLOYMED MODELLING SPRINT. Mali Case Study. Lt Col Jamie Monument RLC
Data from Op NEWCOMBE was used to construct a CC&S scalable framework model that delivers deployed operational decision information. The model is able to predict the potential contribution of alternative, more sustainable, energy sources and the storage required to minimise loss. It even provides carbon and financial metrics.
Key recommendations from the sprint included aligning CC&S with central strategy, integrating it into routine plans and providing education and training to future leaders. There was also an emphasis on the importance of improving and standardising data capture to increase the accuracy and confidence of future models.
