UK Council of Logistics Engineering Professionals

The United Kingdom Chapter of the Council of Logistics Engineering Professionals (UK CLEP) was formed on 7 February 2024 with support from Ministry of Defence, major industry and recognised independent experts.

UK CLEP provides a distinct identity for the Support profession including all Government and industry engineers, logisticians, commercial and Requirements Managers working in the Support field.  We aim to:

  • Advance the Logistics Engineering profession in the UK through education, mentoring & outreach
  • Disseminate the interdisciplinary principles of Supportability to Industry and Government
  • Collaborate with others to strengthen shared values, processes and capabilities

We will enhance awareness and education, spread best practice, promote innovation in Support to contribute to and influence the future direction of Support both in the UK and internationally by working with our sister CLEP Chapters across the world.

UK CLEP is independent but with TD-Info we will bring greater focus and attention on the importance of Support that, from the latest NATO assessment, now accounts for 85% of life cycle costs.  We will work to build a recognised Support profession for a better trained and agile workforce with clear career paths.

UK CLEP’s activities including access to our White Paper library, educational material, and promotion of Support-related events including Communities of Practice and Working Groups.
