exciting academic job opportunities have arisen with the University of Lincoln

A number of exciting academic job opportunities have arisen with the University of Lincoln, as part of delivering its "Selborne" programmes at the Britannia Royal Navy College in Dartmouth.

If you know someone who might be interested in one of these opportunities, please do pass on this email to them. The closing date for applications is 7 June.

The University of Lincoln is the academic partner in a consortium of companies engaged in delivering Project Selborne, a large, multidisciplinary training and educational service to the Royal Navy in a partnership expected to last more than a decade. The Naval Service describes the vision for Project Selborne as: ‘A maritime training system that prepares the Royal Navy’s people, units, platforms and formations to deliver successfully the full spectrum of maritime operations.’
Project Selborne is a wide-scale, 12-year transformation of the Royal Navy’s Training System and includes systems, equipment, personnel and qualifications. As part of this, the University of Lincoln will deliver several academic programmes in partnership with Capita Plc, as part of the wider ‘Fisher Training’ consortium of partners.

As a result of this new contract, Lincoln is pleased to offer a number of opportunities across a range of subjects:
Senior Lecturer of Selborne programmes
Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Communication and Leadership
Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Meteorology and Oceanography
Lecturer/Senior Lecturer Engineering Science

The University is committed to working with people from a diverse range of backgrounds, skill-sets and experiences, welcoming all applications.

All existing and upcoming Selborne recruitment opportunities are listed on the University of Lincoln’s vacancies page. Alternatively, please contact Eleanor Ramsey, Director of Selborne Programmes, at the University of Lincoln via eramsey@lincoln.ac.uk
