Context to Survey
Engineering Support Transformation (EST) is a project within the Support Transformation (SpTx) Discovery portfolio owned by Strategic Command. Following the development of the EST vision and Discovery phase, the project has now moved into an interim phase.
The objective of the interim phase is to develop the business case and supporting artefacts for implementation. Working as part of the SpTx team, this task is being led by Gary Cox with support from team members from KPMG and Jacobs who will be able to bring continuity from the Discovery phase as well as other SpTx activities.
The 11 themes from the discovery are being taken forwards to develop recommendations to support the business case. The current focus areas are to engage with stakeholders in Front Line Command (FLC), Delivery Agents and industry to understand priorities and capability to support the delivery of each theme. In parallel, it's to develop and quantify potential benefits of Engineering Support, using case studies of good practice in Defence and wider industry.
As part of identifying current good practice, tools and initiatives underway, we have attached ths short survey aims to capture existing capability in each of the themes and applicability to FLC and Delivery Agents.
The EST Team appreciates your support in providing feedback via this survey and looks forward to analysing the data.
