UKStratCom Defence Digital is leading the analysis for the Digital Backbone (network & communications) segment of the input into the Defence and Security Industrial Strategy (DSIS). TD-Info has convened a workshop (3 February) for Industry to contribute inputs as well a collating written submissions.

The Cabinet Secretary has initiated a Defence and Security Industrial Strategy (DSIS) review to potentially feed into future Strategic Defence Security Review choices. The overarching aim of DSIS is to enable:

"Competitive, innovative and world-class defence and security industries, that drive investment and prosperity and that underpin national security now and in the future.”

In order to develop an evidence base, MOD has divided the defence and security industrial and technology base into 24 manageable segments. UKStratCom Defence Digital is leading the analysis for the Digital Backbone (network & communications) segment.

The workshop on 3 Feb will enable Industry to contribute to the input for this segment.

Defence Digital will welcome all forms of input and their overarching analysis has a focus on quantitative evidence where possible. With this in mind, if you wish to provide written input to any of the analysis areas on or before 3 Feb it will be very well received.
