A current TD-Info project - Skype for Business Industry Federation - aims to increase exploitation of Skype/Microsoft Teams for virtual meetings, instant messaging and presence across Team Defence as a whole. To leverage the use and benefits of Skype/Microsoft Teams more widely, e.g. working across the Supply Chain, requires design and implementation of Skype/Teams federation models to enable simplified, secure connectivity between organisations. Industry are progressing this work with the intent that the MOD will be able to join in the future. As of 16 March 202, TD-Info has moved to online working as a response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Our office will be closed and is not available for meetings, events or drop-in facilities. However, we will continue activities using online means and will revise our information about planned sessions accordingly, where they will replace in-person meetings. This considered move is designed to reduce potential exposure for staff, members and stakeholders, and also support wider social distancing measures that are essential to slow the impact of Covid-19. The TD-Info 2020 Innovation Challenge - set by the MOD Digital Defence Innovation team - is on "Data collection & provenance in the context of AI & ML in Defence". MOD Digital Defence Innovation team has set the 2020 Innovation Challenge aimed at SMEs and start-up companies. Entries of up to 300 words by 6 March 2020. A shortlist of up to six companies will each have the opportunity to showcase in the Innovation Zone at the Defence Information event held on 1-2 April 2020
