SUMMARY:TD-Info Talks - In Conversation with Andy Start
DESCRIPTION:Andy joined the UK Ministry of Defence from his role as CEO of Capita Public Service\, one of the largest strategic suppliers to UK government. Trained as an engineer\, he spent the first decade of his career as a designer and programme manager in the space business; later moving into organisations such as Airbus\, BAE Systems and Harris Tactical Radio. \nAs the interim National Armaments Director (NAD)\, a position created as part of Defence Reform\, Andy established the National Armaments Director Group\, bringing together the teams responsible for developing\, delivering sustaining\, housing and harbouring the UK’s ‘national arsenal’ and defence estate.
