SUMMARY:AdM as a Service Challenge Working Groups March Event
DESCRIPTION:The first Additive Manufacturing as a Service Challenge (a.k.a Project TAMPA) Face-to-Face Working Group Event of the year will be held on Wednesday 5th March 2025 at the Digital Manufacturing Centre (DMC) in Silverstone NN12 8FU. \nPlease do not delay registering as the number of spaces is limited to 100 attendees and the spaces will be offered on a first come\, first served basis. The registration will close on 25 February 2024.  \nAim: Set the Working Group (WG) plans for 2025\, in line with the Executive Group (EG) Priorities to maximise success against the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). \nPrimary Objectives: \n\nPresent the EG 2025 priorities\, setting the direction for the Additive Manufacturing as a Service Challenge.\nPresent the new Additive Manufacturing as a Service Challenge KPIs for the year ahead.\nThe WGs to set their own priorities for the next 9 months to maximise success against the KPIs.\n\nSecondary Objectives: \n\nTo develop the AM benefits case\, inform the WG community of the findings to date of the Hack 4 MOD task on the Whole Life Carbon Cost of AM.\nIntroduce the NATO representatives to the WG community to establish relationships.\n\nThe agenda\, which is subject to change\, is as follows: \n09:30   Arrival – Tea & Coffee \n10:00   Welcome & Housekeeping by Edit Barbantan and Kieron Salter \n10:10   Agenda and Objectives for the Day by Edit Barbantan \n10:15   Executive Group Welcome by Charlotte Robinson and Dr Ross Trepleton \n10:35   Introduction of NATO partners by Wg Cdr Jon McMahon \n10:45   AdM as a Service Challenge Updates\, by Wg Cdr Jon McMahon and Bernadette Saunders\, on: \n\nthe Advance Manufacturing Strategy;\nSpirals 1\, 2 and 3;\nHack for MOD (H4MOD) challenge\n\n11:15   H4MOD presentation by Imperial College London \n11:30   Coffee break (30 min) \n12:00   Team Defence Information Update by Stu Olden \n12:10   ASTM presentation by Dr Lauren Ednie \n12:25   DMC presentation by Kieron Salter \n12:40   Lunch + DMC tour (1 hour) \n13:40   Update from Working Groups (WG) \n14:05   Focus for Working Groups meeting by Edit Barbantan \n14:10   Working Groups Meeting \n15:10   WG Co-Chair back briefs \n16:10   Wrap-up by Charlotte Robinson and Dr Ross Trepleton \n16:30   Close \nLunch and some refreshments will be provided.
