The quarterly Defence & Industry Support Chain Optimisation Group (DISCOG) ‘Town Hall’ meeting on 6th December is open for MOD and Industry attendees and provides a great opportunity to learn from presentations from relevant groups as well as gain updates on the work of the DISCOG.
In addition to the usual MOD and TD-Info (Industry) updates, this DISCOG meeting is the annual reporting session for the Good Practice Study Group, (GPSG). There will be a number of presentations from the GPSG including:
- The Efficacy of Predictive Maintenance for Defence
- Real-time Monitoring techniques and technologies
- A Process for Down-Selecting Parts for Additive Manufacturing
- Certification Considerations for Additive Manufacture at the Point of Need
Importantly, this DISCOG quarterly session will be considering a change to the governance structure and operating model of the DISCOG, so please make every effort to attend.
Typically, these quarterly ‘Town Hall’ sessions attract around 50, so it also provides a good networking opportunity.
TD-Info members and MOD areas are welcome to send more than one person. For those who are still early in their careers, the meeting is a great opportunity for professional development.
The venue will be Atkins’ Offices, Aztec West. TD-Info members (including MOD) only. Please book your place via this website link
Our thanks to ATKINS - Member of the SNC-Lavalin Group for kindly hosting this session.
