This news story has been archived
The quarterly Defence & Industry Support Chain Optimisation Group (DISCOG) ‘town hall’ meeting on 20th September is open for MOD and Industry attendees and provides a great opportunity to learn from presentations from relevant groups as well as gain updates on the work of the DISCOG.
Planned for this DISCOG session are presentations from: the Supportability Modelling and Analysis Working Group, (SM&AWG), the Joint Obsolescence Management WG (JOMWG) and the Committee for Defence Equipment Reliability and Maintainability (CoDERM). Also, Chris Marshall - MOD Head of Integrated Logistics – Fleet, will give a briefing on the Common Support Framework. This is in addition to the usual MOD and TD-Info (Industry) updates.
TD-Info members and MOD can have more than one person attend. Typically, this ‘town hall’ session attracts around 50, so it also provides a good networking opportunity. The provisional venue is MOD Abbey Wood, but it’s possible this may change (e.g. to a larger venue).
More details on the Agenda and venue to be confirmed. For now, please make a note in your diary: DISCOG quarterly meeting on 20th September.
