Engineering Support User Forum (E-STUF) - what's in it for you
This news story has been archived
On 9 August TD-Info stood up a new community, the Engineering Support User Forum (E-STUF). Download the E-STUF Presentation from this session (by MOD C0-Chair Gary Cox) that included: his role as the Engineering Support lead within the Defence Authority for Technical and Quality Assurance (DA4TQA); the Definition/ Scope of Engineering Support; the Engineering Support Transformation Vision; Current Work on ES(T) Discovery and an Indicatie Programme.
The E-STUF community will provide an avenue for pan-defence engagement to share best practice and improve how engineering support is delivered - to maintain configuration control across the as-built, as-designed, as-used and as-maintained in-service systems and master data.
The group will work closely with the Defence Authority providing a communication focal point for the Defence Support Network Transformation [DSN(T)] Engineering Support Transformation (ESTx) Discovery work stream.
Over the next 6 months members are encouraged to get involved and support the MOD-led ESTx with engagements likely to include a range of questionnaires, workshops and 1-2-1 engagements.
For those just wishing to keep up to date, the quarterly forum will provide programme updates, networking and best practice presentations.
To keep up-to-date on E-STUF publications, to seek to participate in future sessions, to see dates of next meetings and who are the MOD & Industry leads (and the TD-Info Point of Contact) for this community, please go to the E-STUF website section to read up and 'follow' this community.
